Frank Lloyd Wright’s Organic Architecture: Green Design Before Its Time. (2014). Britton. Retrieved from https://www.brittonmdg.com/blog/frank-lloyd-wrights-organic-architecture-green-design-before-its-time/
This article by Britton describes how Frank Lloyd Wright's organic architecture predates and is most likely the beginnings of the eco-friendly buildings and sustainable energy sources we often see in the present. It states how even in today's increasingly environmentally conscious world, Wright's works and philosophies still hold up. It also mentions how architects and students are still being inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright Today, with new works often being created that focus on the ideas and principles that Wright developed. I will incorporate what I learned about Wright in this article in my justification for his eminence, making points regarding his philosophies on organic architecture and how they've influenced our increasingly environmentally-conscious world.

Kaufmann, E. (2021) Frank Lloyd Wright. Britannica. Retrieved from https://www.britannica.com/biography/Frank-Lloyd-Wright
This article on the history of Frank Lloyd Wright discusses the major points of his life, and leaves out the smaller details. This allows for it to be an easy read while also being very informative. It makes sure to be unbiased in it's telling of Wright's life, showing both the good and bad of his life, such as Wright's founding of the Prairie School and his terrible treatment of his first wife, Catherine Tobin. In addition to all of this, I also have the reassurance of the credibility of the information because of Britannica's long running history of being a very credible and accurate source on influential people and events in history. I will use the information I've acquired from this Britannica article to create a timeline of events in Wright's life for my learning centre.

Frank Lloyd Wright. (2021). Wikipedia. Retrieved from thttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frank_Lloyd_Wright
This article, similar to the Britannica article, also discusses the life of Frank Lloyd Wright. It covers most of, if not all of the same points the Britannica article covers, with the main different being that it goes further in-depth than the Britannica article does. It covers much more smaller details than the Britannica article does, as well as going into detail on his legacy and children too. While this extra info helped me flesh out my timeline a bit more, it sometimes got a bit disorienting due to how much text was often placed in one area. I will use this source in addition to my Britannica article to create an even more accurate and fleshed-out timeline of events in Wright's life.

Prairie Style. (n.d.). Chicago Architecture Center. Retrieved from https://www.architecture.org/learn/resources/architecture-dictionary/entry/prairie-style/
This article goes into detail about the prairie style of architecture. It goes in depth about the features that are commonly found in a building made with a prairie style of architecture, such as the low, flat roofs, and how different materials are used together to enhance the building's look. However, it doesn't just cover the physical features of the prairie style. and instead talks about the ideas and thoughts behind the prairie style as well. For example, it talks about their ideals of creating buildings as seen in the more prominent prairie style works, buildings that placed emphasis on aspects such as simplicity, nature, craftsmanship, place, the idea that buildings should be "married to the ground," and the incorporation of modern elements. I will incorporate the ideas and information I've learned from this article in my justification for why Frank Lloyd Wright is eminent and his thoughts on the prairie style.
